Offline use

Offline use happens in the I&E app after you sign in there. This docs host does not install the service worker.

Engines on the device

All 41 calculator engines can run offline after the server has cached that module for the signed-in account. While the network is up, a calculation still goes through the server. The device copy runs only after that same check.

The Conveyor Indexing PLC Tester is a Pro bench page beside those engines. The app stores that bench when the account snapshot has unlocked it.

Pro pass

A Pro offline pass lasts 24 hours. An active trial ends at the trial clock when that is sooner, so a cached pass does not keep Pro tools after the trial ends. Pro modules also check the device proof, the minimum service-worker version, and that the device clock has not moved backward. Pro module bytes are encrypted in Cache Storage.

What stays available

Free calculators and the public handbook do not expire. Free calculators stay plaintext. A device that has not finished the device proof caches the free modules. A free session does not receive Pro modules or the conveyor bench.

The shared precache is the public homepage, the handbook, and the brand shell. The workspace stays signed in and stays out of that precache.

Devices

An account may register 3 browsers for the offline pass.
